Kathryn was born in B.C. Canada and spent her early years there before moving to the USA in time for Middle School. Writing poetry, short stories and songs has been her passion almost forever. Obscure awards include: winning a Read magazine writing contest in Middle School (another cat story), a dozen roses for a Valentine's poem on a radio station contest while in college, and her favourite prize, a set of Gooseberry Patch cookbooks signed by Vickie & JoAnn, for writing a silly jingle when she was a new bride.
