Hermann, Peter

Peter Hermann is an American actor and writer. He was born in New York City to German parents and lived in German until he was ten. He is fluent in four languages and has appeared in films and television shows. He had a recurring role on "Guiding Light" and appearances in shows such as "Law & Order", "Spin City", "Sex and the City", and "30 Rock". He is married to actress Mariska Hargitay, who he met when he appeared on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit". They have three children.
