MARK HELM, CCIM is a commercial real estate agent who started working with REITS (publically traded companies who own real estate) in the mid 1990's to help them locate and purchase self storage. Through his work with these operators, he learned a lot about the business. In the early 2000's he went out on his own to invest in the self storage business.
