Heldrich, Philip

Philip Heldrich grew up in Northbrook, Illinois. He is the author of Good Friday, winner of the X. J. Kennedy Poetry Prize, and numerous short stories. Heldrich teaches writing at the University of Washington in Tacoma and directs the Southwest/Texas Popular and American Culture Associations. He lives in Orting, Washington.
