Regina Held Originally from Dortmund, Germany, Regina Held is the founder and director of New Grounds Print Workshop and Gallery. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Austin, and her Masters in Fine Art from the University of New Mexico. Held founded New Grounds in 1996 in response to the need for an open access printmaking facility. She embraced the non-toxic methods which were just coming on the market at that time and created a studio around it.
