Nancy L. Heinrich, M.P.H., is an epidemiologist, diabetes educator, teacher, and parent. Her public health background includes extensive prevention and control work in HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, sexually transmitted diseases, and other communicable diseases. She is a member of American Public Health Association and American Association of Diabetes Educators. A graduate of University of Alabama-Birmingham and Florida Atlantic University, Nancy is the author of Healthy Living with Diabetes: One Small Step at a Time and the creator of Healthy Diabetes Coach, a diabetes education program.
