Heffernan, Robert V.

Heffernan began playing a key role in the three-year political battle that created the U.S. Department of Education, while serving on the staff of the U.S. Senate in Washington, at the age of 21 and in his last year of college. He holds a BA degree in journalism from American University, Washington. He serves as executive director of three state trade associations.
