Hays, Denise

denise hays is the pen name for peggy teel, who lives in Birmingham, Alabama. She adopted the pen name to avoid offending anyone who might expect denise hays to write like peggy teel. The two authors are nothing alike and everything alike at the same time. To quote Niki Edgar, "It's complicated." peggy/denise is Alabama born and raised, and proud of it. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Creative Writing.
