Hayes, Ofa

Ofa Hayes (1907-1997) Was born in the San Francisco Bay area. She received her Master's degree in art from the University of California, at Berkeley, California, with Honors. She taught art many places in California. She was married three times, to Michael Chepourkoff, Robert Irvine and Frank Jallu. She had two sons and a daughter. Her daughter, Vivian Chepourkoff Hayes edited Ofa's letters to her father, Michael Chepourkoff, to create the book, "Letters to a Lover," a memoir.
