K. Scott was born in February of 1970 in Pt. Jefferson, NY. He remained on Long Island throughout his youth and did his undergraduate studies at Columbia University in New York City. Summers were spent sailing and winters were spent skiing; all the while writing assorted poetry and spiritual thoughts. Athletics were always a pursuit but writing remained his life's passion. The more typical aspects of K. Scott's existence have allowed his writing to become more conversational and engaging.
