Dr. Edward L. (Ed) Hayes is president emeritus of Denver Seminary. His Th.M. degree was from Dallas Seminary, and he earned a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Denver. He was a professor and later academic dean at the Denver Seminary before becoming president. He was ordained as a Baptist minister in 1957 and served churches in Texas, Southern California, and Colorado. He has served on the board of Pioneer Ministries, the Education Commission of the National Association of Evangelicals, and the Fellowship of Urban Ministries of San Francisco, Calif.
