Haydn, Hiram

Hiram Haydn was editor of The American Scholar between 1944 until his death in 1973. He taught writing classes at the New School for General Studies and later went on to become professor of communications at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the author of The Time is Noon and Words and Faces.
