Hawks, John

John K. Hawks is Executive Director of the Consumer Travel Rights Center (www.mytravelrights.com), the largest U.S. nonprofit group dedicated solely to defending and expanding the legal rights of travelers. He also serves as president of the Association of Retail Travel Agents.

He has written several books on travel and tourism issues, including Career Opportunities in Travel and Tourism and Youth Exchanges: The Complete Guide to the Homestay Experience Abroad-both published by Facts on File.

He currently resides in Tennesee.
