Hauben, William

Hauben completed three years of intensive vocal studies at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Italy, following his liberation from Ebensee Concentration Camp. He went on to complete his studies for the cantorate at the Cantor's Institute of the College of Jewish Studies, in Illinois. Since his retirement, William has served as director of American-Israeli Youth Programs for the Tampa Bay region of the Jewish National Fund. He is widely known for his work with youth in the community.
