Hartsfield-Cantrell, Charlotte

Author and illustrator Charlotte Hartsfield-Cantrell has lived in Florida her entire life and loves watching its wildlife at play. An artist since the age of 7, she was inspired to write this book by an idea her son had as they watched the squirrels in their yard. She notes, "This is a book about friendship and family, and learning to understand and accept those who are different."
