I live in Granville, Ohio, a small Midwestern town where I was born and raised. I have two wonderful children, and now a third through my son's marriage. For most of my adult life I have been the sole parent, supporting us by cutting hair. Somewhere along the way I felt called to write. It is not often that we get a glimpse into the life of an ordinary person just trying to do her best with what life has given her. These words are my attempt to do that. It is time for us to look more closely into the nature of life itself, to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, that every moment is a gift,
