Haram, LIV

Liv Haram is Associate Professor in Anthropology, at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim. She has carried out fieldwork in Botswana on indigenous healing practices and in Tanzania on modes of livelihood, gender and sexuality. While she was a Nordic Researcher for Norway (2000-2005) at the Nordic Africa Institute she conducted research in Tanzania on "Modernisation and Distress in Men's and Women's Lives."
