Danish FIDE Master Carsten Hansen is a well-known chess writer with six well-received books on chess openings and positional play to his credit. The most recent book, "A Strategic Opening Repertoire" (co-authored with IM John Donaldson) is also released by Russell Enterprises. He has also written the popular book "Back to Basics: Openings"
