David Hanna, formerly vice president and director of news of NBC, was responsible for NBC Nightly News, the Today Show, and coverage of special events. He also directed the activities of NBC news bureaus and correspondents worldwide. Earlier in his career, he was an executive producer at CBS News and vice president of the Boston Herald Traveler's newspapers, television, and radio stations.
