Hanks ran track up until the age of 15 when a teammate introduced him to the game of basketball. Although a relatively latecomer to the game, he was still able to try out for NBA teams Portland, Milwaukee, Denver, Charlotte and then play for five seasons in Europe. It was in Greece, after fulfilling his contract that he entered the field of Entertainment as an actor and model.
