Halling, Eddie

Eddie Halling was born in South Wales and spent his childhood in Swansea before moving to England for work. He joined the Bedfordshire Police serving for thirty years in total. During his early police career he spent five years as a police dog handler working mainly in the south of the county with his police dog Baron. It is this work that inspired the author to write, "Mr Ted's Police Dog Adventures," "Mr Ted - Police Dog on Patrol" and "Mr Ted's Halloween Encounter." The stories in which are all based, at least in part, on his time and work as a police dog handler.
