Kathleen is the oldest daughter and the second oldest child in a family of twelve children. Both parents are alcoholic and abusive. Her life is filled with turmoil. She is faced with abuse, neglect, abandonment, depression, divorce, attempts at suicide, separation, mental illness, arson, and malpractice.
