As a reader, Julie Hall calls herself a late bloomer. Once captivated, writing became her dream. After earning a sensible business degree from the University of Michigan, then working in marketing and publicity for television and film, she miraculously convinced her dashingly handsome husband that quitting her job to write fiction was the wise course. Julie now lives and writes in Virginia, where she s the puppy mama to a dog named Bear and an actual mother to an adopted daughter.
