Hall, Joy

Author, Joy Hall grew up on an island in Michigan and has loved islands ever since. There she was introduced to the eerie thrill of watching Sir Graves Ghastly (characterized by actor, Lawson Deming on WJBK, TV2 Detroit) climb out of his grave late at night on weekends to present classic horror movies. After receiving an undergraduate and master's degree in elementary education, she spent years in the classroom promoting children's literacy. The idea of becoming a storyteller herself caught her by surprise.
