Sheriff David A. Haggett, Ret. served as a law enforcement officer for over twenty years. The first twelve plus years were served on a small city police department, where he was a patrol officer, a detective and a patrol supervisor. He also worked eight plus years on a county sheriffs department where he was a patrol deputy, a criminal investigator and the sheriff of the county. In his years of law enforcement service he was involved in hundreds of arrests of individuals for drunk driving.
