As a young adult, Cherie moved from Los Angeles to the small town of Tampa where she met her future husband Bill at a law firm where she worked as a paralegal. In 2003, she thought moving to Virginia would be a grand adventure. She and Bill own and operate White Flint Farm, a traditional, diversified, chemical-free farm. The city girl and her country boy have been married for over 27 years, have two adult children, a daughter-in-law, one granddaughter, a dog who thinks she's human, a cat with confidence, and numerous goats, chickens, and pigs.
