C. Grooms is an Educator, Sports Administrator, and Basketball Historian. C has worked at every level of the educational system but the majority of his 21 years of professional experience has been coaching, mentoring, counseling, and teaching life skills through education and basketball. He is also the great-nephew of the late Councilwoman Mary Pinkett who was a political icon in New York City. He lives in Harlem.
