DIANE GRONAS didn't set out to write a novel. Her children's fairytale of a Cinderella in space simply grew into a futuristic world of discovery and adventure with a life of its own. Of Starseeker, The Flower of Tamaroon, Diane says, "At the center is a character developing a larger view of the world and knowledge that what she does makes a difference and can possibly save it."
