Griffis, Alisa

Alisa Griffis is a wife, mom, and teacher who loves to write, sing, read, and travel the world. She started her teaching career in San Bernardino, California inner city schools where she began as a 4th grade teacher. In her first years of teaching, she struggled to find high-interest read-aloud books that would "hook" her 4th grade boys into the world of fiction reading. It had to have action and adventure for the boys, animals, a bit of science, and some moments of danger - and so, Gonalls became the solution.
