Helen Greer is a keen writer, cook and gardener, born and raised in the small village of Walkington. Now residing in the nearby town of Beverley with her husband, she loves nothing more than to walk her two Labradors, Nell and Angus, over the local Westwood. She spends a lot of time writing for a local free press on her experiences of village life, rural culture and planting seasons. Very much a strong part of the local community, she enjoys sharing her knowledge to help others. Proud mother to two adult daughters and a son currently studying his PhD, Helen decided to pen '50 Pearls of Wisdom'...
