Steven Greenberg is a retired opthalmologic surgeon. Following a minor in English literature at Wayne State University to complement his pre-med studies, he had avidly pursued literary classics from Sophocles to Faulkner, building a library of 15,000 books. Greenberg and his wife Deena, an artist, have traveled to nearly 100 countries, but always relish returning to Western Pennsyvania where they have resided since leaving their native Detroit.
