Grant, Kathy B.

Kathy B. Grant (EdD, The University of Montana) is Associate Professor of Education at SUNY Plattsburgh. She has taught courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels on literacy foundations, research, and assessment and evaluation. Her clinical research focuses on active vocabulary for kindergarten, information text and disciplinary vocabulary, and teacher-developed authentic assessments. Dr. Grant is the co--president of the American Reading Forum (2014 2015) and is deeply involved with her local reading council as vice president.
