Rob Goss first went to Japan in 1999 to teach English for a year, but after meeting the woman who would become his wife, he ended up staying. He is now a full-time writer of Japan-related features and travel pieces for magazines ranging from "Time" and "National Geographic Traveler" to publishers from Fodors and Rough Guides to Tuttle Publishing. He lives in Tokyo with his wife and child and travels frequently around Japan.
