Born in England, Jean Gorman received her Bachelor's degree in Physics and had a far from ill-spent youth, wandering Europe. She made a home in an ancient Welsh school and revelled in the history and castles of the country. A keen white-water kayaker, beekeeper and gardener, she became the editor of a small town journal.
