Dan Goodin was born and raised in Maine and now lives in California with his family. Having always been fascinated by plot twists and writing, he wanted to create a blend of Gillian Flynn's domestic noir thriller "Gone Girl" and Charles Dickens's intriguing unfinished novel, "The Mystery of Edwin Drood". The result is "The Fives Run North-South", a fast-paced psychological thriller about fathers and sons and the stories that surround them.
