From early in her childhood, Karen Godson had had a strong will to be right, and to be in charge. She admits that she loves to be noticed, and still fondly remembers winning a place in the Peel Region School Board's Poetry Anthology at the age of eight, with her poem called "The Runaway." Karen now works as a "pen for hire," while continuing to write poetry and other short stories, both kinky and "Vanilla." She chooses to write under her real name, declaring, "If I'm not proud enough to stand behind my work, then maybe it isn't worth publishing."
