Godfrey, Peter Brendan

Derek Godfrey was born and raised in post-independent India. He comes from a lineage of English servicemen who made India their home during the 150 years or so of British administrative presence in the country. His father saw active service with the Royal Air Force during the 2nd World War years in places such as Burma, Singapore and Indonesia. He is a dedicated student of that mysterious, but otherwise ubiquitous quality of consciousness that is better known as life.
