Goberdhan, Brij

Brij Goberdhan was born on August 27, 1962 in Sangre Grande, Trinidad. He attended Avocat Vedic School, San Fernando Boy's Government and Naparima Boys College. His first book "Jewels For Children," a values based, fun filled book of short stories resulted in two awards. The first was from the National Library and Information System Authority, Trinidad & Tobago for First Time Author and the second, a Citizen's Arts and Culture award from the City of Brampton. He migrated to Canada in 1992. "Barrel: Soul of a Migrant" is his second book and first novel.
