Glasson, Woodrow R.

Glasson was one of the Plank owners on the President Hayes PA-39, commissioned at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, December 1941. He eventually advanced to Petty Officer First Class, then to Chief Petty Officer. He was recommended and approved to a commission as Ensign, coming up through the ranks to a commission is known as a Mustang Officer. Glasson completed his ten years of active and reserve time to become Lieutenant Jr. Grade. Then he returned to his previous work in mechanical engineering.
