Peter Gizzi is the author of numerous books, including ARTIFICIAL HEART (1998), The Outernationale (2007), and most recently, Threshold Songs (2011). His honors include the Lavan Younger Poet Award from the Academy of American Poets (1993) and a Guggenheim Fellowship (2005). In 2011 he was the Judith E Wilson Visiting Fellow in Poetry at Cambridge University.
