Rah Gist is a military widow, homeschooling mother of two and avid journal keeper of more than 20 years. Her debut children's book, "If You Hand Your Mom a Rice Cake" illustrates her whimsical yet meaningful approach to nonfiction as a single parent. A certified life coach, Rah and her children live in Missouri and inconsistently blog some of their adventures part of the time.
