Dr. Gilson teaches courses in human biology for social workers, human behavior and the social environment, social work practice, and integrative seminar courses. His research interests and publications include experiences of domestic violence and women with disabilities, disability theory, multiculturalism and disability, and health and disability policy and advocacy.
