Daniel Gilpin studied Zoology at Bristol University before becoming a professional writer. He is now one of Britain's most respected natural history authors. Daniel has written more than 30 books and contributed to several encyclopedias. He has also written numerous articles for part-works and magazines. Daniel's work has been published in Europe, North America, and Asia, with some titles translated into several different languages. This is his third book about fish and his sixth about aquatic life as a whole.
