Gilbertson, Sylvia

Sylvia Gilbertson was born in Gary, Indiana. A former civil litigator, she left the practice of law to study medicinal herbs and wild plants, eventually moving to the mountains of northern Italy, where she and her husband raised their family. She is now a freelance legal translator in Madison, Wisconsin. Her short fiction has appeared in Wisconsin People and Ideas, the magazine of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters, and Black Heart Magazine.
