Gilbert, John

John H. C. Gilbert was educated at Rydens Secondary Modern School, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, and served for almost thirty years in the Surrey Police Force, attaining the rank of Inspector. His police career included twenty-one years within the Criminal Investigation Department, nineteen of which he served as Detective Sergeant.
