The author is an attorney, qualified to appear before the Supreme Court of Greece, member of the Athens Bar Association. He has studied law at the Universities of Athens (LL.B.), Leiden (Erasmus), Kent at Canterbury (LL.M.), and at the European University Institute in Florence, where he obtained his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Claus-Dieter Ehlermann.
