M.J. George was born Melanie George the youngest of three children born to Johnetta and Benton George. When performing she simply goes by the name Mel. Enjoying life is her favorite hobby. A passion for writing is something that she has always love to do, and this being her first book is a dream come true. She resides in Bladensburg, MD.
