Geiger, Susan

Susan Geiger received her Ph.D. in African history from the University of Dar es Salaam in 1973. She is Associate Professor in the Women's Studies Department, and on the graduate faculties in history and the Center for Advanced Feminist Studies at the University of Minnesota. She coedited "Women, Family, State and Economy in Africa" (SIGNS, special issue, 1991), and Interpreting Women's Lives: Feminist Theory and Personal Narratives (Indiana Univ. Press, 1989).
