Sarah Gates is a freelance food writer and home economist. She began her career working for Woman's Own and Prima magazines, and later became Cookery Editor on Essentials and then Bella. As a freelance writer she contributes to a number of magazines, and works as a consultant writer for several food companies. Sarah has travelled extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has a home in France which she visits regularly with her daughter and husband, where she can indulge her passion for eating out and enjoying new wines.
