Kelly Garrett grew up in Michigan. She graduated from Wayne State University. Coming from humble beginnings, she was always looking for something else, something more. The Great Recession hit, and Ms. Garrett found herself looking for a fresh start in a warmer climate. Armed with determination and her Grandmother's truisms, she ended up in Atlanta, Georgia, where she currently resides. Jobs were few and far between so she gave flight attendant training a try.
